I guess this marks the end of the this GEMS module for me.

overall I really appreciate this module as it taught me the way classical guitar was meant to be played. And all the previous wrong assumptions I had about it.

Thanks to Mr Ang I came to understand this style of playing better.

I know I've made effort into playing this piece, so I hope it goes through smoothly.

overall, it's really a good experience. Now I know how to play a new song! :)

major and minor scale. 2008-08-06 23:14:18
the minor scale is abit confusing compared to the major scale.

the only problem i've encountered is the reaction time between the fingering and playing the right notes.

this is something i need to work on.

i will continue to apply what i know to the lessons.

because of the fact that i have abit of basic guitar background, right now it seems i have to unlearn everything and re-learn them. the correct way.
(my previous old style of playing)

learning to read the score is alot harder initially. now even as i come to understand, learning to read notes can take me a long way. (:

for this week i will practice on the following:

- back hand and rest strokes
- Middle and Index plucking
- reading of the notes found in the notes given

i aim to be consistent in my playing. (:
