Week 7 Scale! 2008-06-05 23:12:15
The most wonderful & essential about music is all about the scale! This week, i have the chance to learn the scale and also major and minor triad appergios! My ear give me a difference feeling when playing through a major scale, harmonic minor scale, major and minor triad! This is a good oppurnity to improve myself! Gambeteh!

Aim:
Perfect all the scale given after the Term break!

Week four lesson! 2008-05-11 09:55:51
I have learnt how to play F,G notes on the 1st string, and also D and E notes on the 4th string.
The exercise is building on the major and minor third in different orientations.

The aim for the week:
- Be familiar to the sound of major and minor third.
- Able to play the exercise myself (include guitar one and guitar at the same time)

Second Lesson (Open string E G B)! 2008-04-24 23:54:05
On the second lesson, I have learnt how to play with i and m fingers on the 1st 2nd and 3rd open strings with free stroke.
This exercise also involved some of the string skipping technique.
Practice for few day constanly and now i can play it more comfortable and more acurately!

Plucking Tone 2008-04-15 22:47:10
On these few days practice, i discovered that plucking angle of the i and m finger will produce different tonality. Apart from that, when i pluck strign near the brigde will give a strong and metal sound. When pluck near the sound hole, will give a mellow and warm sound.
Are you guys having same experince?hehe : )

First enjoying lesson! 2008-04-15 00:58:54
14th April is my first day to meet our guitar instructor james ang as well as our gem module lecture.
On first day lesson, instructor had explain the antimony of the classical guitar and the importance of the finger nails length. Beside that we also learnt how to play using inner finger and middle in alternative way. It seems like easy but when actual doing we have to be on full concentration.
Hopefully by next week i can play the open strings with i and m smoothly, and also with a good tone produce by the nails(nail tone).
